ঘুড়িওয়ালা

আমি যাযাবর হব;       ধরব ওই ঘুড়িওয়ালার হাত,
  তার হাতে বন্দী হব; যদি নেয় আমাকে সাথ।

ঘুড়ি তার ভাসবে যখন দূর থেকে সুদূরে---
নীলাকাশে হোলির রং গোলাপী আবিরে॥ 

আমি পাগল আমি মাতাল        হাওয়া ওর বুকে ;
  আছড়ে পড়ে বাসব ভাল; লজ্জা নিয়ে মুখে। 

ঘুরব আমি বনবাদাড়ে দিন হোক বা রাত,
ভোরের শিশির করব চুরি; চিনব না পথ-ঘাট॥

তার প্রেমে মাতাল হ'ব        তারই বাঁশির সুরে,
  মুখপানে তার দেখব চেয়ে; যখন থাকবে ঘুমের ঘোরে।

খুঁজছি তাকে কয়েকজন্ম ফিরছি দিয়ে ডাক---
বন্ধু আমার সুজনমানিক, স্বপ্নেই বেঁচে থাক॥
